Aspire ESP 30w Box Mod Review

The Aspire ESP 30W Box Mod is designed to be an entry level mod for those curious about getting into the glamorous would of sub-ohm vaping. For those not in the know, sub-ohm allows for a well powered device to produce much more vapour, allowing for deeper draws and often a much more emphatic delivery of flavour too. Until recently it has tended to be more the preserve of ‘technical’ vapers who invest quite heavily in their hobby and are clued up with the more advanced terminology and jargon that this involves. The Aspire ESP 30 Watt Box Mod intends to bring box mod vaping – or at least an introduction to it – to the masses!

A Neat Performer For A Very Low Price

30 Watts is on the low side for a box mod, but the price of the Aspire ESP is correspondingly on the very low. Even at 30W a standard vaper will be blown away by the combination of much more power than they will be used to, combined with a sub-ohm tank that will produce epic bilious clouds of vapour. Like any box mod it is important to use compatible tanks and atomizers, suitable models and settings are conveniently explained in detail with the instructions that accompany the device.

It’s very easy to use, which adds to its accessibility even further. Power output is set by a rotary knob on the top of the mod box, that can be simply turned too and fro to find a setting that’s ideal for your tank and e liquid. A small display unit keeps the user informed of their setting and will provide warning indicators should there be an issue with the set-up.

One of the other most noticeable features of the Aspire ESP is that it’s also super light and pretty small for a box mod too – feeling very light in the palm and equally comfortable to use intermittently or in a longer vape ‘session’. This is a personal decision but for me I liked having a lot of power in such a compact unit, much better than carrying about a bulky vape pen in certain situations.

The Kit

  • Aspire ESP 30w Box Mod
  • USB Charge Cable (the box mod can still be used when charging thanks to ‘pass through’ feature).

Conclusion

I firmly believe that anyone who takes their vaping seriously ought to try sub-ohm at some stage, and this is a very efficient product that provides a neat introduction. It’s remarkably low priced given the overall specifications, produced decent quantities of great tasting vape and the battery is reliable too. Overall a good product for some, and potentially a great product for many.
