Halo Cigs have built up a reputation within the vaping industry for providing innovative, sleek and safe quality American made products. This bold and brash company offers two different types of electronic cigarette with the traditional looking Halo G6 and the second generation Triton Tank System.
A Look At Halo’s E Cig Starter Kits
Halo’s G6 electronic cigarette has purposefully been designed to be a similar size to a traditional cigarette and hence is perfect for those making the switch to vaping or looking for a compact unit. The starter pack for the G6 contains two batteries, five cartomizers, a USB adapter and a wall charger presented in a Halo Case.
The G6 starter kits feature a decent level of customisation options with the first choice the user is asked to make being the colour of the batteries. There is a choice of nine different colors, which are Jet Black, Classic White, Titanium, Midnight Blue, Princess Pink, Deep Purple, Demon Red, Emerald Green and Electric Lime. The other customization choices include the size of the batteries (sixty-five or seventy-eight millimeters) and whether they are automatic or manual plus whether the cartomizers provided come pre-filled or as blanks. The kits currently all cost a cent under $45.
The design of the batteries is actually quite classy with their smooth brushed metal finish and even the switch button on the manual batteries being slightly recessed so as not to distract from the design. The Halo G6 battery has an activation duration of roughly five seconds, which is just right as it is long enough to permit a decent inhalation of vapor without causing the overheating problems that can be experienced with some automatic batteries.
As previously mentioned Halo make the option of refilling the cartridges a possibility and another strong positive note when comparing this product to its rivals is that the wick is not visible. This means there is no chance of the e-liquid touching the wick, which eliminates the possibility of the awful burnt vapor taste that occurs when that happens. On the downside, refilling the cartridges takes a certain degree of skill and there is also a thirty minute wait to get vaping again as the e-liquid is absorbed.
The Triton Tank system currently retails for a cent under $65 and has been designed for those who want to move to the next level of vaping – it is also a good choice for those who want to give the impression that they are vaping as opposed to smoking. This particular electronic cigarette is a heavier, thicker, stealthier type than most and this means that the tip does not light up. The starter kits for the Triton Tank contain two batteries, two crystal clear tanks, a thirty-five millimeter cone, USB adapter, wall charger and a Halo Case.
Again there are various customization options including a choice this time of eleven colors for both the batteries and cone – eight are the same as the colors listed above for the G6 and although there is no Classic White option available, three more alternatives are provided in the shape of the Iridescence, Yellow Jacket and Mocha options. The kit comes with two batteries that can be selected from a choice of either four hundred or six hundred and fifty mAH but a fuller range including a variable voltage battery is available from the accessories section of Halo’s website.
The Triton Tank is very easy to fill and holds an impressive sixty-five percent more e-liquid than most standard cartomisers. The middle of the range-heating coil that the tank comes with allows for a pleasant as opposed to burning vaping sensation that ensures a terrific vapor volume. A negative point is that because the tanks are made of plastic they can be susceptible to cracks from the more acidic e-juices but on the positive side of things, because they are clear it is possible to see how much e-juice has been used.
Halo’s range of Premium e-juice is one of the brand’s biggest selling points as it meets the triple threat of great flavour coupled with a decent throat hit and vapour production. Available in five strengths, the range is divided into three lines – tobacco flavors, menthol ones and a specialty ‘gourmet’ selection.
