Halo are one of the most respected manufacturers of e liquid out there, with the US company having been among the forefathers during the pioneering early days of vaping. While some of their contemporaries have grown into massive companies with hundreds of flavours, Halo have stuck true to their guns and continue to produce a small range of truly fantastic e liquids.
When it comes to e liquid, brand loyalty tends in most cases to be – pardon the pun – a rather fluid affair, with many vapers flitting too and fro between companies without much of a glance. This most certainly cannot be said of Halo – indeed it’s often claimed that the reason why they stick to just 25 flavours is that so loyal are their fans (and considerable their reputation) that developing new products may compromise the sheer quality of their initial range.
Now that may sound odd – after all, why not just develop new flavours while continuing to produce the established products as they are currently made? Well in the case of Halo it most definitely isn’t, as their whole ethos is about being truly elite, and they’re more than happy to sit on their perch without risk of compromising their quality. Fair enough, so let’s take a look at the flavours they produce.
Like many premium e liquid manufacturers Halo are no different in giving their liquids pretty zany names. Anyone for ‘Kringle’s Curse’, ‘LongHorn’ or the rather sinister sounding ‘HX3’? Well you’d be mad to say no, as these are pretty much as good as e liquids can get.
In a nutshell Halo produce 13 tobacco based juices, many of which are infused with additional flavours, all of which are quite simply perfectly balanced. There’s no overkill on the delicious infusion, the tobacco still comes through perfectly. Halo are also pretty specialist when it comes to menthol – with a further six options ranging from the simple ‘CoolMist’ through to their ‘Twisted Java’ with combines coffee beans alongside base menthol. Furthermore, there’s also six other blends that are genuinely exquisite – without wishing to ruin the surprise ‘Southern Classic’ is simply a must.
Make no mistake these are e liquids for the connoisseur, and as such come in 7ml vials instead of the usual 10ml. That may be slightly off-putting to some, but in truth is a small compromise to make when a product is this good.
“A genuine must-try for anyone wishing to taste the flavours that helped revolutionize the world of vaping, and remain as exquisite today as they were back then. Sublime taste that you’ll never get bored of”.
